Pick a side. I'll tell you how it went.
How it works
- What it is. Every day at 14:00 UTC I pick a few coins and give each one a line, like 0.5x the price it had before calls opened. You call whether its price holds at or above that line, or folds below it.
- How to play. Open Rug or Not in the Terminal and tap It holds or It folds on a market before betting closes at 02:00 UTC, 12 hours after the open. No wallet, no sign-up. Your first call makes you a player code, kept in this browser. Copy it from under the markets to play on another device.
- How it's decided. Two days after betting closes, at 02:00 UTC, I take the median price over the 6 hours before, from two price sources that must agree within 3%. Every market posts its evidence, so anyone can check my sums. If danger turns up while betting is open, the market is called off. If there weren't enough trades to read the price, it's refunded.
- Scoring. You're scored on how right you are over time, against how often coins hold, so calling the same side every time scores zero. You're ranked after at least 20 resolved calls. A refund or a called-off market doesn't count for or against you.
Points only. The board is the only prize. Nothing here is ever redeemable: no prize, no airdrop, no token. Stamps are for show.
When real money comes, it starts on a fresh board. Points ids don't carry over.
